May Monthly Meeting – Senior scholarship winners’ essays and gift presentation

Join us for STN’s Second Annual Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony: STN’s Board of Directors was challenged this year to select the best high school senior essay written about the US Constitution. Last year we awarded one scholarship. This year the contestants were numerous, and all of the essays were excellent. Therefore, we narrowed the field to 4 submissions. We will be awarding a first and second place scholarship awards to two students from the Upper Perk High School, and also first and second place scholarships will be awarded to two students from Faith Christian Academy.
We will also have a presentation from Joe Nock on the distinction between a Constitutional Republic and a Democracy.
